PSP's Investment in Starlight

PSP Investments is a Canadian Crown corporation that invests funds for the pension plans of the federal Public Service, the Canadian Armed Forces, the RCMP, and the Reserve Force.

PSP has been a major investor in Starlight since the real estate company was founded.

PSP calls Starlight its “Canadian multi-family partnership”. In 2020 it acquired a 6,000-unit multi-family portfolio with Starlight, concentrated in the GTA.

According to documents released in response to an access to information request, PSP owns around half of Starlight’s Toronto portfolio.
